As we wrap up our Bali adventure, we end in an Ubud resort that clearly pioneered the way for the infamous Diddy White Parties. The stone carvings with graphic photos make for such a romantic atmosphere when playing ball with the children in the pool. I have reserved the quality video for the bottom of the article. We very much enjoyed the grotto, with its hot tubs and ice pools.
This resort is where we obtained one of my favorite photos of the entire trip. This gentleman took great care to take a nap in the same position each day. It was how I used to dream of sleeping under my desk back in the day.

We decided to participate in the hotel’s cooking class. This was probably not the best idea. As we started our cooking class with the incredibly kind head chef, we noticed some of his six-legged apprentices were regulars of his class as well. They scurried around, confident even in the light of day. They particularly liked the cooktop area.

As we watched the chef pick up the raw chicken and drip it on the fresh vegetables, I was able to see first hand why I may have been so ill in Bali. He was not concerned at all about the chicken juices going everywhere. Once all the food was cooked, they prepared our table. We all looked at each other nervously as we pondered how we were going to navigate not eating anything we just cooked without offending the chef.
We decided to take everything to go. On the other hand, we also had one of our best dinners of the trip in Ubud. We went to a place called Arcadia, and it was fantastic. The staff, atmosphere, and food were off the charts. It was unexpected and very welcomed.

After more playing in the pool and catching up on homework, we visited The Blanco Renaissance Museum and found a lost piece of art of me from another time. We also hung out with a Hornbill who guarded the museum with furry.

We were incredibly excited to venture to our next destination. New Zealand was on the horizon!! Bali was an adventure for sure. We had our fill of rice patties, warm weather and Bali belly. We were very ready for some crisp air, drinkable tap water, hiking, mountains and empty roads!!
Now the moment you have been waiting for; the amazing P-Diddy party inscribed in stone!
